If
you are new to kayaking or have kayaked for awhile but want to learn
the correct way to paddle, then why not take a lesson. 2K Adventure Gear
is proud to offer kayak lessons taught by certified ACA instructors.
Most lessons are taught in the clear, warm waters of Lake Elizabeth at the south end of Twin Lakes, Wisconsin. Just north of the Wisconsin state line off route 173 and Lakeview Road, the location is ideal for local customers or those on their way to the Lake Geneva area.
Class
sizes are small (5) and are scheduled as half-day events. Private lessons are available upon request for any day and time that is convenient for you. Learn about the
various types of kayaks available on the market and what types of
paddling they are best suited. On the ground we will
discuss the various parts of the kayak, proper gear and clothing, and
where you can safely paddle in the area.
Once
in the water you will be taught the correct method of paddle strokes
including forward, stopping, turning and reverse strokes. Techniques on
safely entering and exit your kayak under various conditions is covered
in this session.
This
is an excellent class for students of all ages. Our kayaks have large
cockpits and are easy to get in and out of. They are the most stable
kayaks in our fleet.
